What is it? - Once a month, we use our system to monitor all host entries. On the first of the following month, we award a single website the "Website Quality of Service Award"! Only 12 awards are given each year.

What does it mean? - This tells your clients that you have best in class website delivery and that you care about their experience on your website. If you win this award, your site delivers content faster, and more reliably then any of the other entrants.

How hard is it to win? - Truthfully, it is not easy to win among the hundreds, even thousands of sites that can enter each month. However, if your site wins, it is something you can proudly display on the site forever.

What do I get if I win? - You get 2 things if your site wins in any given month. First, you get a snippet of JavaScript to place anywhere on your site that will display the award icon (70 x 70), that shows the month and year you received the award (see decal below). Secondly, you get a placement on our awards page, linking back to the host that won the award.

Does it cost anything? - No, it doesn't cost you a dime unless you pay for your bandwidth. Our system will hit your home page from various locations, once every minute for an entire month. This will equate to more than 40,000 hits.

Will the traffic impact my sites traffic reports? - No, if you use any internal or 3rd party traffic analytics, you will see no impact on your reports. If you analyze your traffic using your web servers log files, you will want to filter out our monitoring hosts to ensure continued accuracy. You can find the list of Active Monitoring Servers here.

How do I enter? - First, entries received this month will be monitored for the award next month. All entries are valid for a single contest with the exception of the winner, who will automatically be entered in the next month. Just fill in the form below and click the confirmation link in the email you will receive. Only fully qualified host names, not IP addresses, will be allowed.

How do I know if I won? - Winner notifications and all other details will be sent to the entrants email address.
